Recycle

Many materials we use every day such as Glass, metal and paper are not garbage. These can be reused and recycled.

Recycling means taking materials from old discarded materials and making other new products from them.

Some of the benefits of recycling are:

1. Recycling reduces the need for landfilling and incineration.
2. Recycling prevents pollution caused by the manufacturing of products from virgin materials.
3. Recycling saves energy.
4. Recycling decreases emissions of greenhouse gases that contribute to global climate change.
5. Recycling conserves natural resources such as timber, water, and minerals.
6. Recycling helps sustain the environment for future generations.

Materials that can be recycled are:

1. Paper

2. Glass

3. Cardboard

4. Aluminum and steel cans

5. Plastic bottles

6. Electrical appliances
